There are two furniture stores in my town that are within walking distance of one another which means they are in constant competition too. They have been known to run sales for Reclining leather sofas but will also match their competitor prices just to get the sale. I always wonder, though, if they have an insider because they always seem to know when the other will have a sale and they run an ad with the same items but with much lower prices.
